What Do Your Email Statistics Mean?

Unsubscribes – This represents the number of people who wish to be unsubscribed from receiving your emails.
Bouncebacks – Bouncebacks or NDR’s are generated from mail servers when there was a problem delivering an email message, for example, to a non-existent mailbox or recipient.
Click Throughs – The process of clicking through an online advertisement to the advertiser’s destination.
Mail opened – This report shows the number of unique times an email has been opened in a mail client. The report is useful in determining the number of times unique reads.
Mail Read – This report identifies the number of times an email has been opened and re-opened in a mail client. The report is helpful in determining how many readers read an email more than once.

How can I alter the default contact details for new campaigns?

LiveWire Campaign automatically inserts the latest address and contact details we have on record for your account into new email campaigns as they are created.

These details are initially populated from the details you entered when registering on the system.

These details can be edited at any time, and the revised details will then be used for all future campaigns you create:

  • Log in to LiveWire Campaign
  • Click the Account Settings link at the top right corner of the screen
    Account Settings Link
  • Click the Edit your Profile button
    Profile Link
  • Enter your revised address and contact details
  • Click Save Changes button

All campaigns you subsequently create will contain your revised details.

How to Create a Campaign From HTML

Recently we added the ability for you to upload an HTML file you have created your self through our system.

If you wish to send a custom HTML email then you will need to have the following:

  • An HTML file (*.htm or *.html)
  • This must pass valid W3C XHTML standards
  • This should not contain scripts like JavaScript
  • Any images within the file should be fully qualified internet addresses, pointing at your images on your own web hosting (i.e. img src should point to http://www.yourwesbsiteimage…)
  • A text only file (*.txt)
  • This is a text only version of the HTML file with no HTML content or tags at all ( plain text)

You will then need to:

  • Go to the Designer tab
  • Click on the “Create a Campaign From HTML” link
  • Use the grey upload pane to browse for your HTML and Text file
  • Give your Campaign a name
  • You will then be able to preview the HTML file you have uploaded
  • If you are not happy with it you can upload a new HTML file (after editing this locally on your PC)
  • Don’t forget to edit the Email header (From and Subject) at the top of the email
  • LiveWire Campaign will automatically add tracking to all URL’s you have in your content
  • We will also create an online web version for you
  • You will need a valid voucher to send custom HTML campaigns

It really is as simple as that.

How to delete user groups from your contact list

Login to your livewire campaign account with your username & password.

Select the contacts tab, and then follow the contact group’s link; this should display all your contact groups in your contact list.

Click on the group of contacts you wish to delete and click the delete group button.

How to Delete Unsubscribed Users From Your Contact List

In order to delete unsubscribed contacts from your list, you need to do the following….

Each user must be individually deleted

2) Select Contacts…and then select a user and hit the delete button in the bottom right hand corner - to remove this contact.

We are working on continuous improvement of our services, and hope to add a more complex service later this year, whereby multiple users can be deleted simultaneously.
